How do I go about using Marriott points for flights? Is this possible? What airlines work with Marriott?

You can't use Marriott points for flights. What you can do is to trade some of your points for FF miles with your favorite airline. Then it's your job to try to actually book flights using those FF miles, something that isn't always easy to do unless you can book far in advance and (typically) in off-peak times.
