Use rented 2025 points for 2026?

I was wondering if I could use rented 2025 points to make a reservation in 2026 or if I need to rent 2026 points. I don’t have enough for the reservation.

Rented points are only valid in the use year in which they were rented. In essence, you need 2026 rented points to reserve in 2026.

The rented 2025 points are good only in 2025.
