Can anyone clarify for me what we can use at the JW when we stay at DSV II ?
Also is it worth the effort ??
thanks !

The privileges are for guests staying at DSVI, not DSVII. I think that you just have use of the spa/pool but I honestly can't remember. For me it wasn't a big deal, but I know that others love it.

FYI, I asked about it a few years ago at the front desk and as I recall, if you were staying at DSVII, you could pay $10 per person, per day to have the same access. So you could ask if they still offer this access. You can also access the spa area by having a spa treatment. I have found better spa deals at other hotels using groupon etc. Here's a good one: https://www.groupon.com/deals/agua-serena-spa

Yep, no access except as a paying customer, so you can play mini golf, shop, eat, get a massage, etc. We never use any of what would be the benefits.

As others have mentioned you have to pay for daily access to the facilities unless you stay at DSV1. In addition to facilities mentioned they have tennis courts, bocce ball, croquet, badminton and basketball. We own at DSV1 so have used some of the facilities in the past. The value is in the eyes of the user.

Enjoy your stay.

Best regards.

Mike

I own at DSV1 and 2. Staying at DSV2, You have access (IIRC, M-F) at the JW tennis facility but that's it. But, you can take the free DSV shuttle over to the JW and use their restaurants and go through their shops. You get either a 10 or 15% discount (excluding alcohol) when you use your M activity card. Also, you can do room charges back to DSV1 or 2.

If you stayed at DSV1, you could "use" their Spa. But that just means that you could use their outdoor lap pool, outdoor regular pool, showers, locker, steam room. But if you wanted a massage or facial, you would pay for that. I believe that if anyone reserves a massage or facial, you have access to the spa lap pool and steam room, etc.
