US Travel advisory to Barbados

The US government has issued a Level 3 travel advisory for Barbados.
This is a country that has only approx. 135 total cases, their citizens have been quarantined, they wear masks to all stores etc., their beaches were closed for quite a while, and they even had a curfew which has now
been lifted.

What a ludicrous statement. If Barbados is a level 3 I cannot imagine what level US would issue for themselves.!

If you look at just about any country, you will see a Level 3 advisory.
 
They also issued a Level 4 Travel Advisory for Belize, Costa Rica & Nicaragua. Belize has had a 100% increase in Covid cases in the last week and is back on shut-down. The planned re-opening of the international airport on Aug.15th has been delayed indefinitely. I'm not sure why Costa Rica & Nicaragua are on the same list, I haven't seen their numbers. The travel advisory also mentioned the increase in crime in Belize City due to gang related incidents. The gang crime has actually decreased during Covid due to the curfews, lock-downs and increased police presence.
