Urgent :Cancelling Blue green purchase

Hi looking for urgent help
I purchased from bluegreen Las Vegas yesterday. I’ve decided to rescind. Aside from the letter to cancel what else should I return to them? Contract and other documents signed? Incentives (received in the form of vouchers/certificates)?promotional booklet and CD? Should I send them the originals of the above?
I have a sample letter from some other forum. Would appreciate if you could answer the above and also share a sample/template letter to send them

The contract should spell out exactly what you are required to do. You may have to do some digging to find it, but it is there. Follow the rules precisely. For example, if it says use blue ink, do not use black ink. (It won't say that exactly, but you get the idea.)

Just send a letter. I'm sure the sample you found is fine. Include a COPY of the signature page for ID purposes. If you wish, write 'Promotional materials to be returned under separate cover' then do it.

Send it USPS Certified if you want a record of it being received. Keep the postal receipt until your down payment is returned.

Another option that we here on TUG like to put out to people like you (the OP, that is) is to try renting before buying or accepting one for free. This gives you an opportunity to "try before you buy" and not have to face the hassles of getting rid of what you own if you decide that timesharing is not your cup of tea.

Hi folks
Need your help assessing if I have an issue with my rescission. Here is where I’m at:
The day after purchase I shipped BG a box that included the cancellation letter and all their material they gave me via USPS priority express mail.
Worried they might I miss the letter in the box of all the materials I sent them the cancellation letter again the next day, via priority mail and return return receipt requested, stating that I wish to cancel and that I had shipped all their material and the cancellation letter yesterday.
So both items were post marked within two days of purchase. The first one has been picked up and usps has provided me the name of the person who signed for the box with the material and the letter. The second one (letter only) is out for delivery and expected to be delivered today which is on the 6th day after purchase(although it would be post marked within the 5 day time limit)

Is there any cause for concern that they will not honor my ask to cancel the contract? Also how will I know that they will or won’t honor my ask to cancel. I think I should be good but you know how nervous people get

The "date of rescission" is the postmark of the letter, not when it is received.

Hi everyone
Today I received my refund of my initial down payment that BG charged to my credit card.
I believe this indicates that the contract has been canceled and that they will not be initiating any auto withdrawals from my bank.
Assuming that puts me in the clear I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being there during this ordeal.
