Ocean Enclave by HGVC
Those points are most likely HVC/DRI points while HGVC is sold by the deed. It's not even apples to apples with HGVC deeds.
Actually no, Enclave where I'm already an owner. It was a dog deed- 1 bdrm silver/"city view" so a hard no on multiple fronts. But it was deeded HGVC. (He did offer a different deed at the same $6.50/pt cost when I asked out of curiosity what it would cost to change seasons for the 2bx I already own to increase points without changing MFs but that was so stupidly expensive even he didn't want to spend time discussing it)

I was told that does not make you HGV max.
HGV Max is smoke and mirrors unless you are happy with studios in the off season. Just not much quality availability at six months out. You are better off typically buying a deed at where you want to go or a super low MF Elara contract.

As I understand ability to use current HGVC points in MAX if you upgrade to MAX in HGVC —at 6 months you have ability to reserve Diamond Resorts with your entire point inventory. Similar to what happens if you have HGVC points and BHC. However, if you are in HGVC and add MAX with a HGV/Diamond retail purchase, you can’t use your HGVC points in MAX since your HGV and HGVC accounts are separate. Am I correct?

I would certainly hope you could since they are selling many HGVC owners DRI collection points to enroll in Max.

The only way you can use them together is in Max. Much better to buy what you already have - if you "MUST" buy into Max.
