Hi Tuggers,
We just accepted an offer on our house. Paperwork is being processed, scheduled to move May 1st. We feel pretty good about it, but almost 38 years here will have lot of memories and saying goodbye to our friends will be difficult. It’s not like we are moving far but having friends close by has been good. A young couple are buying the house and they are just starting out so we feel we are leaving it in good hands. I probably won’t be on TUG in the next few weeks. Just wanted to let you know what going on.

My neighbor's daughter put a bid on a house close by, with a letter explaining she had grown up in this neighborhood, loved it, and wanted to raise her kids here. It was not the lowest bid, but it is the one the sellers accepted. She's a super sweet kid and will take the best care of that house (already has made some nice improvements, they will not be disapointed :)).

OUR situation too! Five years ago, we thought were were ready to do it (for 2022-2023) but then things changed . . . so now we're patiently waiting for "the right time" as though that ever really seems to happen.
