Aloha! We had a wonderful visit! Jeff and Kim met us at the airport and it was so wonderful to meet them both and see Kim looking so well. They showed us where to pick up groceries and dinner and then escorted us to Wavecrest. We relaxed our first morning and then went to town to have lunch at Paddlers. Next we went out to explore the west side of the island which reminded us a lot of Texas. Very arid with mesquite trees and red dirt. We saw Axis deer, wild turkeys, partridges and mongoose. We made it to the post office just in time to mail our coconut. We went back to town to pick up dinner at Molokai burger and then we joined Jeff and Kim at the Wavecrest clubhouse for bingo night. We sent our husbands out to get the famous “hot bread” while we played. Everyone at Wavecrest was very kind and welcoming. The next day we did an early morning whale watch and then went out to the mile 20 beach for the afternoon before getting cleaned up and having dinner at Hiro’s. We had to say goodbye to Jeff and Kim on Friday morning to fly back to Oahu. We had such a fun time! I felt like I had met a celebrity and visited locations from a favorite book! We enjoyed Molokai and plan to return again on another trip. Here are a few pics:

It's always a joy to meet TUGGERS in person. Lynda and Eric are awesome. It was great seeing them enjoy Molokai.

Kim and I had a great time meeting you and we'll be here when you return.

Lynda brought Kim some Little Debbie Nutty Bars. Her favorite, that we don't get here on Molokai. She is savoring each one. Lol

Not Friday, but we are in HI now and will be busy tomorrow. I just saw this & remembered all the weather reports. So, here's a strange one
Having been to the top of Mt Ham a few times, it is hard to imagine that. Though from afar I have seen snow on a couple of the mts hereabout.

Nice part is that for 2nd time in about 60 days, we left for HI and < 24 hrs later Bay Area started getting its only real rain (snow!) of the winter

What a nice visit. Jeff and Kim are the coolest people. When we were there, we were able to share some nice times with them. The friendship continues.

Little Debbie Nutty Bars? haven't thought of those in years. :D
