New to HGVC but not at all new to timesharing.

Looking at HGVC SeaWorld, there are four different designations for 2BR units. Two are lock offs -- no problem there. The other two are 2BB and 2BR. The square footage and descriptions are identical.

What's the difference?

This older post shows a difference in bed types in the second BR, which is not reflected in the room details now. I believe SW was built in at least two phases and maybe they originally had different bedding in the second BR.

You might want to call the resort to confirm the bedding options in the second BR if it makes any difference to you.

I find it a little odd that all four options are listed at 1278 sq ft, even the lock offs.

I've owned Wyndham timeshares since 1995 and have become used to such oddities.

I tried to search the HGVC foruim for the answer. One of my searches had 2BR and 2BB but I didn't get a hit.

Thanks for the explanation. I'll probably have more questions as I go along. Nothing like trying to learn a new system!

Many times I'll just do a google search on HGVC and whatever info I'm looking for. Generally you will find TUG results and sometimes info from other sources.

I have only stayed in 3BR's at SW and like the resort and location.

Always check the Sticky first. We try to put that information in there

No problem, that is the reason for TUG.

2BB is stand alone 2BR and 2BR is part of 3BR lockout

If you look at pics of the pool at Seaworld you will see that the original 2 building are vastly different than the others. The rooms are a much different in shape than the others, the lanais are not square, and the are other differences (i.e. the studio has no lanai). We have stayed in the 1brs and love them.
I think the rooms types show up online as STU, 1BD, 2LO ...
