Understanding Club Points Charts for a Resort

Hello! I am a relatively new owner with MVC in the points program and I am trying to figure out how to calculate points for future dates that aren't available yet using the club points charts for the resort, and it is confusing to me. I am looking at the Harborside resort for 2/12/26 for 4 nights (here's the chart: https://owners.marriottvacationclub.com/f62a3cee-2b59-4eb9-9b79-f2b19b660f4eI). However, I don't understand how the holiday dates work. Since I am not asking to stay for a whole week, but leaving on the actual holiday (President's day) it doesn't give me the points value for less than that whole week. Can someone help me calculate the points and explain how you got there? Is it the Thursday 2/12 rate, plus the Friday- Saturday rate, plus the Sunday rate? If so, what is the rate for the Friday-Sunday since the chart doesn't give a nightly rate after 2/12? I am looking at the 2-bedroom. I appreciate your help!

On the MVC site, go to Use Points > Point Calculators and enter your resort, size/view, check-in, and desired LOS. It'll give you the breakdown:

I'll just add there are a few resorts where the point calculator doesn't work for some reason (e.g. Crystal Shores) and that it's really absurd they don't post the breakdown on the 2026 points charts.

Yeah, that is a change from how they did it for 2025 charts and prior.

Keep in mind that you will always use more points if your reservation has a Friday and/or Saturday night stay. There is a higher point consumption cost when using those particular nights.
