I asked here, but since it's buried in an old thread, I thought I would ask again. Has anyone worn a TUG t-shirt to an update meeting before? If so, any interesting stories to share? I just received mine and will be travelling to Tuscany this week (Delta willing). I haven't committed to an "update" yet, but I might do it. I'll definitely be taking a photo to get my next year TUG membership reimbursed :)

Thanks to everyone here that has improved my knowledge of the HGVC system, and how to get the most of it.

Not at an 'Update', but yours truly and my better half with a salesweasel at a Vidanta resort. And yes, it does score a year of TUG membership! Thanks Brian!

i told my daughter it's the anti-marketing t-shirt. tuscany village, orlando.

our first return to the 'crime scene', where we first ignorantly bought retail.

sadly, that crime was committed 3 more times before i discovered TUG.

i still haven't decided if i will wear it to the 'update'/sales pitch.

You could wear it under another button up shirt. If the salesperson turns out to be a jerk or rude, then display it by unbuttoning your shirt.

Honestly, I haven’t really had any issues lately with salespeople I really don’t know what they will be able to spin anyways after they look at my portfolio.

that's a good idea. last time i brought up the value of resale points at an update meeting, it ended shortly after.

The first time I wore a TUG shirt (the I Paid More For This Shirt Than My Timeshare One) they told me it was 'disrespectful', and wouldn't continue the presentation (to get 20% off our resort bill). So I changed shirts. I have my price.

I vote you do it like superman or hulk hogan and rip off your outer shirt to expose the TUG shirt underneath the first time they say something untruthful!

establish dominance! revel in the fear in his or her eyes! =D

well dang, at least the shirt did work as advertised!

think id have asked how being an educated owner is somehow disrespectful, or more disrespectful than a salesperson playing fast and loose with the truth!

I plan to wear one of my “all timeshare owners should join TUG” shirts next time we’re likely to be dealing with body snatchers. I hope it will let them know that we know their game.

Very happy my resort doesn't do Timeshare Presentations.

I want a shirt to wear to my first TS presentation in Las Vegas!! My friend is going to one and she invited me, and I would LOVE to show them i'm in on the "joke"

This is a little mean considering I work at a TS
