My wife and I bought a timeshare 2 years ago and only used it once. It's an expense we're trying to cut

Do you still have a loan or mortgage owing on it? Are your MFs paid up-to-date?

If you don't owe any loan or MFs, you can try:

1) Selling it,
2) Giving it away, or
3) Asking the resort's Homeowners' Association to take it back.

If you still have anything owing, you might just have to stop any further payments and let it go into default and foreclosure.

Whatever you do, do not go seeking the services of any of these exit/cancel companies, charities, or law firms that claim they can get you out. These are scams.
