Trip gasoline CO vs TX

Gas in north Dallas was up over to nearly $4/gallon before the recent holiday, then dropped to $3.39regular. Just paid $4.79 in CO . Just saw $4.59 in Salida CO. State tax is just 2ȼ different . Seems a huge difference.

Was a pretty drive that we had not taken before, Grand Junction CO to Dallas via Gunnison CO
 
Gas prices are dropping in Coastal Virginia to under $4.00 per gallon for regular gasoline.
