Just went through an “owner update” in Las Vegas WM. Was told about a New Program called “Travel up” and instead of about 12000 points for a 2BR week, it will now only be about 4000 points. Yep. Too good to be true? Can anyone clarify/enlighten me on how this works? Or if this is legit…?

Addendum to above. Bodysnatcher said to get into the ‘Travel up” program, all I had to do was buy 6000 more points for $17000. and my maint. fees would only go up about $30/mo. Am I being lied to…?

The rep was either 1) confused or 2) intentionally misleading.

RCI Instant Exchange is where 4000 credits plus a housekeeping books any RCI available unit within 45 days of arrival. Travel Up has nothing like this.

It would depend on your level of ownership, which we do not know. What did the rep say when you asked, "Show me how my maintenance fees will go up only $30/month."

Regardless, the rep's comment intentionally ignores the very significant monthly payment for the $17,000 that would be in addition to the maintenance fees. Very sneaky.
