Travel to Egypt

Looking forward to hearing about your adventures and experiences!

Egypt

We traveled to Egypt with Tauck Travel. They were wonderful--5 star hotels, all transportation in modern clean vehicles, knowledgeable guides. Everything is taken care of for you from the time you land in Egypt until the time you arrive home.

I would definitely travel with a known company. Tauck had guards with us at all times. But, you never saw them.

I just read in the Smithsonian magazine that Dr. Zahi Hawass, former head of archaeology in Egypt is offering tours in Egypt. I would take advantage of that tour. Traveling down the Nile in a Faluka is something you will never forget!!

Am trying to get back to Egypt for another visit. There is so much to see, such history and you actually step back in time. For me, it was a once in a lifetime experience.

My husband and I have travelled all over the world and Egypt is our favorite place. (Israel is our second).

It may be a little expensive but it is definitely a once in a life time trip. You won't regret it.

After recently getting back from a trip to France (low-risk river cruise) using Tauck, I can also see how you'd appreciate their land tours. Wow, they really cover all of the bases of comfort and security. Yes, they are pricey but IMO worth it.

I'm back, safe and sound! It was an incredible trip...will write a full trip report after I catch up with my emails and everything else...
