What is Travel & Leisure with Wyndham.
^^^ This. The only "tie in" with Wyndham Destinations is TravelUp - which is the equivalent of Expedia or Travelocity or Kayak or any number of other online travel booking websites that offer online travel search and booking services. The pricing is no better with TravelUp than any of these other services generally - and in some cases worse - the only area where it's better consistently is on Wyndham hotels - which most folks don't want to stay in anyways given the most of the brands/chains are discount/budget oriented and the quality varies widely since most of them and independently owned and operated. In short, TravelUp isn't worth having to purchase more developer timeshare points - not by a longshot.Travel & Leisure is the parent company of Wyndham Destinations.
What are you talking about? At our last presentation they told us we could save up to 50% with TraveUp!^^^ This. Our pitch was that we needed to activate TravelUp and there would be no offer to sell us anything. Truth is, there was no activation of TravelUp, but they also did not try to sell us anything either. We had a rep that said we were her third tour ever. She was new and very green but very nice. The "closer" or manager who stopped by was rather rude. I hope for the sake the rep we had that she doesn't cut it and gets out hell away from the company. The parking pass reps will say.
"It's not a hard sell and You need to attend to learn about an exciting new benefit that will save you thousands."
I hear Wyndham sells alot of points with TraveUp razzle an dazzle. Last update I sat in on they were still pitching buy more points to rent as a way to eliminate paying maintenance fees.^^^ This.
