Travel Insurance. Anyone use MASA?

Medical and Services Association, offered by my retirees group. Want $390 for 1 year family plan. Emergency Air transport, transportation for recuperation nearer home, Trans for escort, non injury transportation, vehicle return, minor children return, return of physical remains, organ retrieval and organ recipient transportation. Good for sea, air, and land. Is this a good price? Anything lower and as good? Have some coverage's on credit cards, but this covers all travel away from home.

I wish I could find a plan like that. I use Geo Blue and it costs about $150 per trip. Many of the issues you describe are covered with Geo Blue.

I would say that is a good price if you take 4 or more trips per year- especially if you take more.

But there are other sites, and other MASAs. Some sort of marketing "partnership."

DAN for me was the "diver alert network". This was to cover scuba injuries but there are other benefits that included the ability to purchase trip insurance. It looks like danboater isn't a trip insurance but a boat accident policy with a search and rescue feature.
