How much does it cost for the transportation from the Grand Mayan Riviera Maya to the airport? Also, can we book that while we're there, or does it need to be booked ahead of time? Thanks!

Transportation from Grand Mayan Riviera Maya to airport?

In March it was
$15 per person using the resorts transportation. We could have taken a cab for about the same amount except we had Joyce's wheel chair, and the cabs are too small for 2 plus luggage and the chair. You can book up to the day prior while your there, no need to decide until then.

We used these guys when we went. We are a family of 5 however, and with luggage we don't all fit into one taxi. http://www.entertainment-plus.net/tour_transport.cfm

Just as a note, the Grand Mayan airport shuttle is free from the airport to the resort and $15.00 for the return trip back to the airport. There is a concierge at each Grand Mayan building who can take care of everything for you including booking the shuttle which can be done the day before you leave. We were at the Grand Mayan - Riviera Maya for 2 weeks in April and also 2 weeks in 2005.
