how much should it cost to transfer an ownership to a relative, in a US based timeshare?

You can do it yourself with just some postage plus whatever fee the resort charges, or you can have it professionally transferred. Many TUGgers use LT Transfers. They are TUG members and are reasonable. Ask them what they charge. At one point it was $250ish but may have changed. Ask them. @readylegal@gmail.com/

It kind of depends on what is being transferred, the type of transfer and the location of the transfer. If it's a deeded timeshare being transferred to an immediate family member the cost would include having preparing a new title or quit claim, recording fee and probably a resort transfer fee. If the transfer is from an estate of a deceased owner there could be the extra step of probate.

If it's a membership only the transfer can often be completed by the vacation club.

Probably talk to LT Transfers, a known to Tug timeshare transfer company.

I agree, contact LT Transfers about your specific resort.
