How do I determine the trading Power of my marriott week in II? I'm new to trading with II and trying to learn II quickly. Never traded before.

You don't. Trade power is proprietary to II and they don't share how they calculate it. What determines trade power? It may be some or more of these.

Unit size - The larger the better
Week being deposited - Higher season/demand the better
Resort Quality - better quality will have better trade power

Sad but true, you won't know your trade power. The only thing you can control, is trying to increase your chances of having the best trade power possible, by making sure you book and deposit the highest TDI week (shown on your regions chart on Interval) for the week you deposited. You also want to deposit early (hopefully you did this already). Then you search a lot, and observe what the best units you can see are (write them down if it helps) ... I usually search for Elite rated resorts and look for the highest TDI weeks in that resort's TDI chart. As mentioned, the larger unit the better -- my 1BR Grand Chateau will always see more than my studio side. Some people exchange a 2BR to get the trade power they need.

At the end of the day, the places you want to go to may not even require high trade power (especially if you don't need the largest units or prime holiday dates). I would suggest becoming a member so you can see the Sightings area of the forum and get access to members-only content. In the Sightings section, members will post what great weeks they're seeing on Interval, and then you can quickly search too and find out if you can see them. You will then be able to judge if your trade power is preventing you from seeing certain weeks. I see you own several weeks, so if you have deposited a variety of them you can test-trade by switching between units and doing the same search. You will quickly learn what your most powerful trader (and weakest) is.

Enjoy trading, there is a lot to learn but it sounds like you're motivated and can pick it up quickly.

Welcome to Tug @rchika

How did you find us?

You own at least 3 Marriott weeks and points? Two on the east coast, one in California desert, and unsure what's in Palm Springs. And you have never traded before?
What season do you own at each of the resorts?
