trading into aspen hyatt

We are Hyatt newbies and trying to get into aspen next winter. We put in our request 15 months before our request time. We have a 10 week window for our travel period. So far we have not gotten a 1bdrm there. Does anyone have experience trading in here? Do we have a good chance of getting a week and just be patient or should we add other resorts? How long should we wait before adding other resorts ?

It is still too early for next winter I think. I have found availability often comes up 6 months before so if you don't get something by August (assuming you are looking for Jan-Mar), I would add other resorts then

Also if you could fit into a studio, might want to add that to the request list.

Definitely add other resorts. Aspen in high season is not easy under any circumstances.
