hhhuuuummm this is interesting . . .never had a request from Marriott to turn in my vacation weeks for points. Do they need the inventory for the new exchange program?

To ensure delivery of your Marriott Vacation Club Owner Services emails, add marriottownerservices@vacationclub.com to your personal address book. Replies to this email are not monitored.

5 Prizes of 100,000 Marriott Reward Points? Peanuts, that's what elephants work for:hysterical:

Wish they'd up the ante.

I get a similar E-mail every year about this time, but this is the first time I ever remember a drawing or other prize/gift to encourage such trades.

This was the email I got from my VOA which caused me to wonder why MVC is pushing for us to trade our legacy week for MR points. Has this happened in the past? Just curious. And, no, we haven't joined the DC.

I get a version of this E-Mail every year about this time. The only difference is that I do not remember that there was ever a drawing or other prize or gift for doing so.

I didn't get one yet...but remember getting something similar in the past, but without the incentive contest. I always trade 2 of my weeks for points each year to replace MR points I've used, so maybe I'll have two chances to win! :)

Shouldn't you be able to enter even without trading for point? Since trading for points reqires one to make a purchase, $109 fee. You should be able to enter without purchase.

Good point. You are right!

Somewhere in the fine, fine print --- you should be able to enter this contest without paying anything. My daughter just won 2 Disneyland parkhopper tickets in the last CocaCola contest without ever buying a thing!
