Tracfone FAQ
Is the triple minutes benefits
based on the Operating System?
No, it is based on the phone type.
Phones manufactured before April 1, 2017 will still have the triple minute benefit. New phones that are currently rolling out will not have the triple minute benefit. And all future phones that are introduced will not have the triple minute benefit.
As long as I have my current triple minutes phone,
will I continue to get the triple minutes benefit?
Yes, existing triple minute phones will continue to have the triple minute benefit.
This change is only with new non triple minute phones that do not have the technical capability to triple.
A list of new phones are listed on Tracfone (dot com) for reference.
If I buy a non triple minute phone, and transfer my service to it, do I get to keep my existing minutes now that there are no more triple minutes.
Yes, everything you have carries over in full to your new TracFone as part of TracFone’s unique Unlimited Carryover program (Talk, Text, Data).
