I have a 2 BR deluxe Oceanfront at TOTG. How spacious are those rooms. I also have a 2 BR deluxe unit at Seawatch. Someone cancelled it and I booked it. I also wanted to try this resort. Not sure OF’s in the Towers or Villas. I can’t tell from the reservation. But it was 125,000 pts from Mon-Sat 1st week of June. 21,000 pts for Mon-Thurs and 41,000 pts for Fri to Sat. If so am reading the pts chart right. I believe it’s the towers. How are the ocean views from these units. Compared to an Oceanfront view at TOTG. I like it he amenities at Seawatch and more pools but if TOTG is better and better rooms. Trying to decide which one now. Thanks for your help.

The deluxe two bedroom oceanfront/view units at TOTG vary in layout - the resort description for these rooms literally says "varies" for beds for this reason - so it depends on what room you get really. Some are a bit odd in that the unit entrance is directly into the second bedroom, and then you walk through that bedroom into the front of the unit into the living area with the kitchen and living room, and to enter the master bedroom off to the side of the living room. These are the typical interior two bedroom unit layouts. The second bedroom typically has two double beds, and some have two queen beds. The corner two bedroom units are different though - and typically laid out better, so ask for units that end in 20 or 34 (the corner units) as they all have a hallway entrance that doesn't walk directly into/through the second bedroom. So I recommend calling TOTG and putting in a room request for corner units ending in either 20 or 34.

Last year we were in unit 534 and that's actually part of a three bedroom lockout - we only had access to the two bedroom side of the lockout for two weeks last year. That unit didn't have double beds in the second bedroom it had a single queen sized bed instead. Again, this is why the room description for the two bedroom oceanfront deluxe units say "varies" for the type of beds. If you prefer a specific layout, again, make the request by calling the resort about a month out from your start date and make your explicit request - like you'd like two double beds or two queen beds in the second bedroom on a corner unit for example. You may or may not get your request - it's always "best effort" as we all know.

On Seawatch, having never stayed there, I can't really provide comparisons, room layout experiences, etc. Here's a layout of the "20" corner units at TOTG for direct reference:

I've only stayed at TOTG once and it was in a 2BR DLX Ocean Front. It was smaller than expected. I've stayed at SeaWatch several times in North and South tower and the rooms i've gotten were spacious and nice. I think the general consensus is that TOTG rooms are on the smaller side compared to Ocean Blvd or SeaWatch.

I will say the Ocean Front rooms at TOTG do have nicer views, as they are directly ocean front, and at Seawatch you can be at kind of an angle to the shore in some rooms.

Having never stayed at either OB or Seawatch Towers, I cannot compare, but yes I'd agree the units at TOTG are a bit less spacious overall than units at other resorts where we have stayed, but as you said, they are direct oceanfront units staring straight out at the ocean - which is very nice and something we prefer - and all oceanfront deluxe units have balconies to enjoy this piece of the puzzle.

Here's a resort map for SeaWatch. There are two locations for reservations -- towers and villas. The villas and some of the units in the North Tower have oblique views of the ocean. Some units in both towers have a side view.

A tower reservation will most likely land you in the top four or five floors in the South Tower. If you request specific unit numbers, I would go for 1604 (2BR) and 1605 (3BR).

SeaWatch looks like a large resort but it isn't really that big in terms of availability to Wyndham owners. Wyndham controls 38% of the units at SeaWatch.

When we were there in March, I asked them about the units that were Club Wyndham. North Tower it was units ending in 01 and 02 and in South Tower it was floors 12 and above. I think they control all the units in the villa buildings.
