Does any one know of any potential assessments (due to the hurricanes)
on TBC in the future or of any scheduled meetings to address the issue? Thanks!

Jim

I don't own at Tortuga so I can't be positive but I doubt very much if there will be special assessments. The two that I own on San/Cap that are also HGVC, Hurricane House and South Seas, will have no special assessments due to hurricane.

Thanks June, I am interested in A TBC unit therefore I had some concern! How long have you owned on San/Cap?

Jim

I have owned on Sanibel about 15 years and Captiva about 5. We've been going there 33 years.

Maybe a Tortuga owner will chime in with more info. I don't want to say definitely there will be no accessment. Just basing it on what others are doing, I would say no.

Hi Jim,

The only Hilton managed resort on Sanibel that I know of that has had a special assessment as a result of the hurricane damage is Shell Island Beach Club.

You may want to call the office at Tortuga and confirm that they are not going to have one, however. Their phone number is (239) 472-0400. I seriously considered purchasing at Tortuga (although I bought at Hurricane House instead) and I called the office several times with numerous questions about the resort, specific weeks, units, etc. They were very open and helpful. I think they would give you good information.
