To Sell this Year, I made a Desirable Reservation

In order to try to sell a timeshare in 2025 that is platinum but not a set week, is it a good idea that I reserved a likely favorable week? All I've ever seen is that someone advertises that the timeshare is floating, but the best dates may already be taken. As long as I cancel my reservation a month ahead, there's not much $ lost.

Just be aware that if using RCI you are only allowed to rent (or sell for a 1 time use, not the ownership) a week at your own resort, and yes a favorable week will rent faster/easier. We also own a floating week and the first time I rented I choose a popular week and ocean front (as opposed to ocean view) unit. The renter I found loved it so much she wanted to rent it the following year as well, so when I submitted our request for the week/unit we wanted for this year I used her preference and got it.

I am an owner and haven't posted it for sale but plan to today! I did rent my Valdoro unit (well, I own 2 bedroom but found a 1 bedroom to book at Christmas! I rented it on Red Week. I've been very busy and time slipped away!
