Has anyone ever seen a celebrity while staying at a timeshare?

No. But I know that many baseball players own at Hyatt Hacienda Del Mar, Puerto Rico.

Well, I don't think this is exactly what you're after, but....

we saw Emeril while on a timeshare vacation in Orlando. He was filming a commercial at his restaurant at Universal and we were walking in to eat dinner there and almost crashed into him. My kids were way impressed.

That is the closest we've ever come to a celeb sighting.

A few years ago, Bobby McFerrin (Don't Worry, Be Happy) and his family were staying at Morritts in the Caymans with us. He mostly kept to himself but his kids put on a talent show. He was quite taken with my lovely granddaughter. She was 2 or 3 at the time and fit in well with his kids.

Saw Kelly Rippa at Epcot while staying at DVC. I'm pretty sure she wasn't in a timeshare, however.

Jon Bon Jovi was at Disney's Vero Beach Resort last summer(well documented on the DIS boards).

Scotty Bowman, former Hall of Fame Hockey coach of Montreal/Detroit etc. was an owner at Disney's Beach Club Resort

Really, Jon Bon Jovi was there? My nephew would have flown down there just to see him had I known!! Thinking about it though that would have been a gigantic invasion of his privacy. I lived in NYC for years.. I used to see stars all the time walking down the street. It would be unheard of for a New Yorker to stop and bother them. Just bad taste. Only a tourist would do so.

I guess so .Two women who were seated next to us told us he was in the restaurant as soon as we came in .They were more exited than a couple of kids .They waited for him to exit with their camera in hand and missed the shot.

At the Grande Vista last summer, Nick Faldo came in with the drummer from Iron Maiden and sat at the bar next to us. This year we saw Nick Faldo again and on another day, Gene Hackman in Faldo's restaurant. Also saw tons of pros at Bayhill's Arnold Palmer Invitational, not too far from the G.V.

Saw Pierce Bronson at a coffee shop in Hanalei. Really wanted to take his picture but didn't want to invade his space.

DH spotted Kris Kristopherson at the airport in Maui. Sent DS19 after him and got an autograph on the ukelelei (sp?) they had just bought.

We met Bill Murray at a Spring training ball game in Ft. Myers. He was very pleasant and relaxed, sitting in the stands, and chatting to everyone.

Thurman Thomas (Buffalo Bills HOF running back) was at OceanWatch last summer. We lounged right next to him & his family several times .

Patrick Swayze was at the next table in a restaurant in San Antonio(I was the only female in our group and the guys I was with wanted me to go over and get autographs for their wives).

I don't think anyone bothered him or his family. He acted like a regular person according to the reports. None of that "Don't you know who I am stuff!"

I know someone ran across Kelly Ripa in a bathroom at the Poly(early Dec filming of the Xmas parade). Reported she's waay skinnier in person than she even appears on tv. :rofl:

We go to Sundance Film Festival each year in Park City and we stay at on of our Marriott's there. We've seen many B and C list celebreties staying at those properties during those weeks. My wife is better at remembering their names.

We've also seen a ton of A list celebrities at Sundance.

We saw Ice-T while staying at our Westgate Park City last year during the Sundance Festival. Like Clemson Fan, lots of other celeb's, mainly at the film venues around town.
