Timeshare Transfer ["Redemption and Release LLC"]

I am looking for a way to unload my timeshare and am definitely not interested in paying $$ up front to have it listed for an [unlikely] sale. I submitted a web enquiry to a company called "Redemption and Release LLC", and received a call/response from an affiliate or the parent company called "American Resource Management Group" out of Rockford IL. Other than the fact that I will have to pay them (amount unknown at this point) for them to take ownership so I am free of all my obligations, are these guys legitimate or just someone else to steer away from?

Most likely they are going to deed your timeshare to a dummy LLC, bankrupt it, and abandon it. That means that the remaining owners will have to cover your maintenance fees.

Even worse, they make take you money and your deed, but never transfer it out of your name, and ride off into the sunset with your money. You will find out when you receive the next maintenance fee bill.
