I just got my annual maintenence fees for Buganvilias. My contract stated annual fees would be around $500, which they are. My contract also said ad valorum fees/taxes were included in the maintenence fee. Now my invoice says $630 is due $84 of it is "taxes". I asked the timeshare about this and they said you pay taxes on everything. I realize what property taxes are but this is just some sort of general tax. I haven't had to pay taxes on my other two time shares. Does this sound right? I need some help because my contract stated ad volorum taxes were already included. Any advice is appreciated. :annoyed: :annoyed:

I pay taxes on all of mine. They're listed separately on the annual maintenance fee invoices.

Mine aren't listed separately for my timeshare in Mazatlan.

May get more replies on the Mexico board....?
