Anybody have any info on the outfit Timeshare Solutions, LLC, out of Las Vegas? They send out postcards for appointments in "your area". Their website (timesharesolutionsworld.com) doesn't give much info.

We'd appreciate any information.

You'll want to avoid this wonderful offer. There have been a number of posts here about this type of "opportunity".

There are a number of companies selling this nonsense. Or perhaps it's one company that changes its name as often as necessary.

They all work approximately the same way. Convince you that your timeshare is an albatross that you don't want and they will buy from you. Sell you a vacation club membership that is worth, at most, a few hundred bucks, based on comparable offers on eBay and at various travel outlets. Yet somehow, you wind up spending upwards of $4,000 for them to "buy" your timeshare from you!

Here, from the TUG Advice section (link at the top of this page) is a write-up on one of these companies. Here, from the old TUG BBS, is one called Timeshare Relief and another called Vacation Solutions of Denver.

Thanks very much. I strongly suspected this was the case. Google found a reference to them on the old tug bbs, but the link was broken.

Now I've got to figure out how to actually go about renting out some RCI points to somebody. Seems kinda complicated to me, although after the 1st time it may be not so bad.

I ran across a number of transfers, all listed for $100, of some desirable weeks on the OBX to Timeshare Solutions. I will try to find someone who is on the same political track as the AG to put in this info to their Consumer Protection Office. Maybe an investigation can nail these people.
