Is anyone familiar with this company/individual and whether or not they are reputable?

Thanks,

We have completed a buy from her company and was very pleased with all the communications and timeliness of the process. They used Timeshare Resales Closing Services Inc. as the closing company. Less than three weeks to record the deed. We consider both these companies as reputable and would not hesitate recommending both of them or using them in the future. At Timeshare Resales we dealt with both Karina Ottinger and Amanda Warner and e-mails have been answered timely and promptly.

Thanks Ira. How long ago did you use them? I don't see either of the individuals you list on their website. Just want to be sure we are talking about the same company.

Anyone else have any input?

Thanks.

Both of the individuals I listed were with the closing service, also called Timeshare Resales. At Carol Levenes's firm we used Anthony as the salesperson and Laura Rodriquez as the contract person and both were fine. We closed on our unit last week.

Anyone else have any experience with them? I've seen very few reviews and they have been mixed.

Thanks

yes, dealt with Carol. She is on the up and up. she will try to keep in touch after you do business. you will be ok.

I would wonder about this agent since I saw her listing on Redweek for an "Oceanfront View" unit at Aruba Surf Club. After I paid the $14.99 Redweek membership to contact her, the listing went in to detail later to describe the unit's view as "Oceanside." There is a difference at Surf Club in price and view for these two classifications which ticks me off since I was only interested in "Oceanfront." I sent a message to her asking to modify the listing but apparently she wants to play the game and not change it. So I would be sure to clarify what view you are getting. I feel a little duped since I paid $14.99 to find out it wasn't really "Oceanfront View."

I would dispute the charge with your credit card company since you were duped into paying Red Weeks extortion of charging you to respond to an ad

I know there are supporters of Red Week's model in here, but in my mind the SELLER SHOULD pays all cost of advertising, it's just not right to charge the buyer to shop

The good news is Redweek is going to give me a credit. I agree it is kind of crazy that they charge potential buyers. I bit because it seemed like a great price on an Oceanfront and similar to a price we paid for a past Oceanfront purchase. I guess I should continue to shop TUG where I found the other deal.

It's good for sellers as it means buyers are more serious.
