Anybody have any dealings with Timeshare Resales Hawaii? I have listed my Hawaii week with them to sell and would like to get some feedback from anybody who has dealt with them.

My first tmeshare purchase was through them. Very positive experience, since they saved me $10,000+ on the developer purchase that I had signed for a day earlier.

If your refering to www.Timeshare-resale.com also call Paradise timeshare resale of Tahoe and Hawaii, they are a well known TS reseller. I've not had any dealing with them but thought we should clarify who we are talking about.

Dave M, you are correct. No up front fees, but a 20% commission. I think they're very motivated to sell considering the commission.

Never bought or sold through them but I have had contact with them. I would have no qualms about dealing with them.

RE: web site http://www.hawaiitimeshare.com/

What a terrible site. Just a site with info on the resort and NO LISTINGS.

IMHO, I would never consider buying from any reseller when they don't have a list of the TS for sale.

Correction

As Dave M points out next, the TS do have some pricing which I did not see.

There is more info than you noticed.

If you look closely, you'll see that most resorts listed have the starting (lowest asking) prices listed for various types of units. Although it's not what we are used to seeing at some online sites, it's not unusual for real estate (e.g., "condos starting at $...."), auto and other advertising. Even timeshares are often advertised this way in other mediums (e.g., in Hilton Head newspaper advertising).

We have dealt with this company recently and liked the service. We didn't buy from her but she was very helpful giving the information we needed and trying to find what we were looking for. I would do business with her again, if needed. I don't think I am allowed to mention a name here on the TUG forum.

Correction!

I am sorry but that wasn't the company we dealt with. It was All Island TimeShare Resales. I am sorry that I was confused and had a Sr. moment.

All Island is also a good company.

re listing prices on the website.

IMHO, both Timeshare Resales Hawaii and All Island operate in a slightly idfferent market. I believe that both of them generate a lot of thieir business from people who on thie islands vacationing. Many of those visitors have gone through the spiel at one of the resorts. When those folks see the resale prices that they TRH and AI have posted in their stores, the price looks attractive.
