Whether the fee is collected "upfront" or "later" matters not --- it will still almost certainly be several thousand dollars paid out of pocket for alleged "services" of questionable value, result or merit (...and perhaps even of dubious legality, if it is essentially a Viking Ship operation of fraudulent intent by willful design).

It seems to me that at this time of year (a peak period for maintenance fee payment due dates) there is nearly always a spike in advertising for assorted new (or old) "relief" and "exit" so-called "solutions".

I feel like a broken record in continually repeating in these forums that a lawful contract into which someone has freely and voluntarily entered cannot just somehow be "dissolved" or otherwise magically made to somehow just disappear by incantations, exorcism, cash, magic beans, pixie dust or a fairy Godmother.

There are numerous lawful and effective ways to part with a timeshare ownership. To the chagrin of some people, most require at least a little time and effort.
Just blindly ponying up a few grand over to any obscure "relief" outfit of dubious credibility just simply ain't ever the way to go, IMnsHO.

Personally I am a "Do it Myself" guy and don't trust any of the companies that offer to do it for me. First, nothing is free. In addition many of them have been shown to be outright frauds. Unless multiple people on this board vouch for this company my advice is stay as far away from them as you can.

what efforts has your friend made thusfar to deed your timeshare back to the resort, or give it away?

you can post her timeshare for her in the marketplace if you like, it seemed to be successful for you in the past?
