All,

My daughter loves water slides and it makes the vacation much more fun when staying at a resort with a water slide. I'm starting a list of resorts where there are water slides. I have been to some of them. I'd love to compile a list. Please post any resorts you ahve been with a nice pool and water slide set up.

I will start with a few I have been to:

HGVC Kings' Land Hawaii + the slides at the Hilton Waikoloa Hotel

Marriott Lakeshore Reserve Orlando FL

Marriott Imperial/Royal/Sabal Palms at the Marriott World Center hotel

WorldMark/Wyndham Reunion Orlando FL

Westin Ka'anapali (can't remember if it was south or north)

I know some of these resorts also have slides.

  • Marriott Shadow Ridge (it was closed when we went there during the pandemic)
  • HGVC Marbrisa (slides added after my trip)
  • Marriott's Ko Olina
  • HGVC Parc Soleil
  • HGVC Lagoon Tower

The Vidanta resorts in Nuevo Vallarta have a large slide built into the side of a stone pyramid. Not ideal for little ones to do by themselves as the walk from the end to the stairs is a bit long, but my kids love it.

One not often mentioned here is Panorama, BC which has 2 good water slides. They can be accessed by guests at either Embarc Panorama or Panorama Vacation Retreat at Horsethief Lodge.

Harborside at Atlantis has a reputation of having great slides but I haven't been their personally so can't confirm based on experience

Very impressive pool set up. Certainly, I did not expect it at a destination with a short pool season. Panorama is on my winter list but we may have to do this for a summer trip along with a Banff.

I totally spaced on mentioning Harborside, and I went just this summer. It's got way more/better slides than any of the resorts listed here so far. It's a whole big water park plus other stuff as well. Kind of a technicality, but I should point out that the waterpark is on the main Atlantis grounds instead of Harborside, which is on the other side of a small yacht harbor, but it is close enough to walk or take the free shuttle, and you do get free access by staying at Harborside.

All of the DVC resorts have water slides. I personally love the one at BWV, but BCV has access to Stormalong Bay, which is sort of a mini water park. Have to cross the public walkway to get from pool to the slide entrance, though. SSR has two slides, one at the High Rock Springs pool and the other at the Paddock pool.

Wow, I've been to the Westin Kaanapali resort twice and didn't notice a water slide. :wall:

Harborside /Atlantis has amazing water slides. I love the one that takes you through the shark tank!

Lagunamar in Cancun has one, but it's really simple. Still a slide though!

Club Wyndham Great Smokies Lodge (Wilderness at the Smokies Indoor Water Park) is on the property. We got free access with an RCI Exchange.

The Atlantis/Harborside (Paradise Island, Bahamas) water park is the ultimate. Best lazy river, multiple slides, splashpads, etc. I've ever experienced.

Divi Village Golf and Beach Resort, Aruba

HICV Scottsdale, Westin Desert Willow, Westin Kierland( Hotel side has slide, wave pool, etc), MVC Canyon Villas(Hotel has water slide).

I don't recall a waterslide at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge. They did build a new water park but there is no free access to the waterpark for Canyon Villas guests.

Sheraton Vistana Resort and Sheraton Vistana Villages both have pools with waterslides. They are fairly basis, but still slides.

Smugglers Notch in Vermont has water slides.

Grand Lodge on Peak 7 and Grand Colorado on Peak 8 in Breckenridge both have small water slides.

Marriotts Crystal Shores in Marco Island has a water slide.

The Westgate Smokey Mountain resort in Gatlinburg TN has an indoor water park with slides.

HGVC Hilton Hawaiian Village has water slides at the Lagoon Tower pool.

Hilton/DRI Beachwoods Resort, in Kitty Hawk, NC.

Massenuten Resort in Virginia. If my memory , is correct they have a water park onsite.

Wyndham Glacier Canyon (Wisconsin Dells) and Great Smokies have very nice included water parks.

HICV - The Villages in Flint, TX has a waterpark as well, but (as it seems with everything HICV) they charge extra to use it.

HICV Scottsdale, Westin Desert Willow, Westin Kierland( Hotel side has slide, wave pool, etc), MVC Canyon Villas(Hotel has water slide).

We were disappointed with the slides at HICV Scottsdale - they are fairly large and look cool (and they were the big reason we went) but my kids (middle elementary age) found them too slow and didn't really like them.

Dune Village Resort in Myrtle Beach,SC when the grand kids were under ten years old. Great waterslides and amenities for the grandkids.
Beach onsite.
