Timeshare Exit Companies

I was at a meeting with Empower Propety and Title. They told us on January 23, after inaugaration that Desantis will sign a bill on timeshare resort protection. The law will require Timeshare owners to pay 20 years of maintenance fees to get out of a timeshare. Based on research 2% of owners can afford this. Desantis has a resort friend that will be the president this month. Days later the bill is signed. His friend owns one of the most expensive resorts. Always thinking of citizens? Has anybody heard of this. Where is the Timeshare groups helping us fight this.
