I recently joined MVC. On my deed it only listed 2br+2ba. does anyone know if it is a lock off unit or they are for first come first serve?

Even at a resort with a mix of lock-off non non-lock-off units, my understanding is that for floating week reservations lock-offs are generally first-come, first-served regardless of which is on your particular deed.
