The Thunderbirds flew around the Las Vegas Valley recently To honor those on the front line and it was nice to see it. Wasn’t able to get pictures as we didn’t know exactly where they were flying, but it was still fun.

Best regards.

Looks like they have been busy with these flyovers. The Thunderbirds flew over the Colorado Front Range a couple weeks back for a dual purpose: honor the front line workers and the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs. It was a cloudy day, but we had a nice view of them as they came over our city, made a ~270 degree turn and headed towards Denver.

We saw this a little after noon. You can hear them coming......so loud. By the time I unlocked my phone, they were gone. Nice to see.

We live near Luke AFB and on Friday, they are doing a Fly-Over of the Greater Phoenix area. I will be out in my backyard watching them take off and land :) It will be noisy, but worth it.

"A formation of 15 aircraft, including seven F-35A Lightning IIs and seven F-16 Fighting Falcons flying out of Luke Air Force Base and one KC-135 (fueling tanker) from the 161st ARW will begin the flyover at approximately 3:10 p.m. and will last 50 minutes."

We get the Thunderbirds every couple of years for Luke Days Air Show and they fly right over our house for 3 days! We sit out on the patio by the pool and watch the show. We especially love the Friday practice day - they do their performance 3-4 times getting ready for the weekend. They were supposed to have been here the last week of March, but it had to be cancelled. :(

Occasionally we get the Blue Angels at the air show and it would be impressive to see them together.

I was able to see the Blue Angels today over North Texas! I wish I had a spectacular photo to share, but sadly, I don't. I ended up being further away from them than expected, but I was able to track them for 3 or 4 minutes as they made a big zig-zag across an area north of Dallas.

they are busy because all the regularly scheduled air shows from the Air Force and Navy have been cancelled :(
I like to photograph the air shows each year :(
