Interesting that one article is about this being the hottest year and another article is about this years huge solar maximum. Also interesting is they left out hydrogen fusion all together.

"Global warming continues to accelerate, caused primarily by the burning of oil, gas and coal, which release heat-trapping greenhouse gases. Carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere have increased by more than 50 percent since 1750, and they are set for a new record again this year."
