RCI Registry Collection

Looking for advice & suggestions on which property in
The Registry Collection (to purchase) that would get
excellent exchanges with the least amount of investment
and the lowest Club Dues and Annual Maintenance Fees

I own at LaSammana but have never tried to exchange this unit. The Maint. fees are low & might make a good trader.

Registry Collection

This is still part of RCI. Would have the same problem exchanging (lack of availabilty) that you would have with the regular RCI. Does anyone have any experience with this.

I do NOT have first hand experience. We were at the Trapp Family Lodge this past summer, and met a couple who owned at the new Villas at Trapp Family Lodge. They said they tried to exchange a few times but were unable to get an exchange. They said it was $250 per year to be a member of the Registry Collection with no discount for a multiple year sign up. The exchange fee is also another $250. My husband and I toured the Villas and they were very nice, but there was no landscaping yet around the new units and there was a lot of construction going on. I am sure it will be very nice when it is completed. As I said, I do not have first hand knowledge, but this couple did not seem too impressed with the service so far. I belong to II and RCI and I personally get some very good exchanges. I am not a member of the Registry Collection, however.
