Just finished a weekend in NYC at The Quin - my first since becoming an owner here (I own at HCNY and West 57th as well). I stopped by during my last few trips to check on the status of the owner’s lounge and it was still under construction. Well, it’s done but not yet ready to serve food. They are still giving $50 VISA gift card per day to owners. I stopped in and took some pictures. Overall it’s a good use of space at the corner of the third floor with good view of sixth Avenue and West 57th. Not a bad place to park to watch the Macy’s parade.

Thanks for the update; we'll be up there this week. I had noticed this on the HOA page, indicating that the restaurant should be opening in October and the lounge sometime this year. They did have a reception there for owners during the Macy's parade; we'll be back for that and managed to score a 1 BR so will be able to watch from our room if the weather is poor. Looking forward to trying out the new restaurant.

A Message From Your Resort

Dear Owners,

We’re nearly halfway through the year, and I hope you’re enjoying the beautiful summer weather. It’s exciting to see the streets filling back up with tourists and residents alike, and it’s obvious New York City has regained its charm and appeal since fully opening for business.

Our current tourism numbers are coming close to 2019 levels, and we don’t anticipate things slowing down soon. We’re extremely excited to share that the restaurant located on the corner of 6th Avenue and 57th Street (the site of the old Wayfarer) is anticipated to open in October 2023 with a new Mediterranean concept. We look forward to the opening as we expect it will add to our Owners’ experience and improve our local neighborhood.

In other news, we’re still actively working on opening the Owners Lounge at The Quin, a Hilton Club this year. Though we do not currently have an opening date, we’re still confident we’ll be able to provide this important service soon. We’ll certainly keep you updated on any changes as we’re aware of how crucial this is to your stay with us.

In the meantime, we look forward to welcoming you back home to New York City and The Quin.

Sincerely,
Jason Tresh

Have a stay here in a couple weeks. Looking forward to a few days in NYC!

As a W 57th owner, we'll likely be able to scam a simple look when it's done (we did that at Central), but would never be able to use it unless we do an actual exchange with a Quin owner.

Cheers.

I asked the concierge when it will be “functional” with breakfast and evening hors d'oeuvres and drinks. She said “hopefully” in the fall as they were waiting on more owners. I guess it’s cheaper to just give the gift cards for now.

I'm currently in the process of buying a Quin resale deed. For any owners out there, does the latest annual assessment billing notice disclose anything about when there might be food served in the owners lounge?

It doesn’t. They are giving out $50 gift cards for each night you stay to make up for the lack of the lounge service.

Found a great place for breakfast sandwiches about a 10 minute walk away - All’Antico Vialle on E 60th.

Thanks, I was hoping for something like at Central. Breakfast only and the $50 gift card.

For folks like us that like a simple breakfast, the breakfast options are the Morton Williams just up the block are nice. By the pound. Eggs, bacon, sausage adnd quite a bit more. Plus breakfast burritos.

Cheers.
