What a beautiful place to visit.
The Museum of the Shenandoah Valley (MSV) contains four gallery spaces, all housed on the second level of the main Museum building.
The Glen Burnie House sits on land that Winchester founder James Wood surveyed, claimed, and then settled in 1735.
The six-acres of gardens that surround the Glen Burnie House are both impressive and intimate.
The Museum Galleries and Store are open year-round Tuesday through Sunday. The House and Gardens are open seasonally from April through October. Admission fee includes the galleries and gardens
(admission is not required to visit the first floor of the Museum where
you can enjoy Art in the Halls, shop in the Museum Store.
The MSV is closed on Mondays.
