The Colonies at Williamsburg (Virginia). 4BR which can be locked-off into 2-2BRs. Fixed week 23. $855 MF (taxes included), that's $427.50 per 2BR! Use your week in a very historical place, or trade into phenomenal locations like:

Hawaii (Maui): Westin Nanea Ocean Resort Villas (2BR)
Hawaii (Big Island): Kohala Suites by Hilton Grand Vacations (2BR)
Hawaii (Oahu): Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club (studio)
Hawaii (Big Island): Kona Coast Resort Phase II (1BR)
Nuevo Vallarta and Riviera Maya, Mexico: Grand Luxxe (3BR and 2BR)

You read that correctly; I've been able to trade for 4 Hawaiian timeshares and an II "Elite" resort in Mexico! So why am I letting it go? I purchased a July 4th week at the same resort and no longer need this week.

It is affiliated with both II and RCI. Like II, but not RCI? Trade with II. Like RCI, but not II? Trade with RCI. Don't like either or just want a different exchange company? Trade with SFX.

Additional Information:
2019 First Use Year (deposited 2018 for 2 of the trades above).
No loan balance and maintenance fees are current.
Week 23, school's out so take an early "Summer" getaway!

The Colonies at Williamsburg is located in James City County, Virginia, which is known for its history. Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown Island, Yorktown, Busch Gardens, Water Country USA, award-winning golf courses, shopping, and fine dining abound nearby.

Interested. Already own with Vacation Villages and was looking for a 4 bedroom. Let me talk to the wife to confirm. Just transfer fees?

Does II charge anything to add a new week to current accounts? This would be our first time buying from Owners.
If you add a year to your II membership ($89), they'll add the unit at no additional cost (this is how I add mine). You also have the option of paying an admin fee (don't know this cost) if you don't want to extend your membership.
From II's FAQ:
"There is an administrative fee to add a week(s) to an existing membership. The administrative fee is waived, however, if you renew your membership for at least one year at the time you add your week(s)."

How many TPU’s does this resort get with RCI?

Week 23: 36 total; 18 for each 2BR deposit.

Did you have to deposit the entire (4BR) to get into those amazing resorts?

No. Each exchange was with a 2BR deposit.

What other fees are there besides MF? Do you pay any other fees to the resort? Do you pay to lock off? etc. Are there any other perks owning with Vacation Villages? Do resale weeks lose anything?

No fee to lock off. In II and RCI it shows up as a 4BR and 2 2BRs each year so you have the option to deposit one 2BR, two 2BRs, or one 4BR.

If you occupy your unit for your use week, there is a $25 resort fee (total for the week). According to owner services, they charge the fee to owners and exchanges into the resort. If you trade your week, you do not have this charge.

So, there aren't any other yearly fees!? A fee to Vacation Villages? Any perks such as some sort of getaways from Vacation Villages or the like? I stayed there last year.

Correct, no other yearly fees to the resort or Vacation Village. I pay the MFs...period. Apologies for not being explicit in my previous post.

I get 2 yearly ACs from II for this unit. I purchased the unit resale and they show up on my anniversary month of registering the unit with II.

I joined RCI last month (Colonies just became affiliated) and I received an AC that was targeted to VV owners. I don't know the frequency of this since I just joined.

This superb deal is still available

Somehow this phenomenally sweet deal is still available. It's been nibbled on, but no takers just yet.

Wait, I'm sensing a taker...you, yes, you, the one reading this right now; this one is for you :)

VV owners typically get an extra vacation annually with RCI for a week 2-45 days out. I believe the weeks you can get with them are just those in the RCI weeks side, with in undisclosed value of around 8 TPUs. About every five years or so, VV also markets a free week for just the internal VV exchange fee through RCI of $159 at another VV resort with about a year reservation period; also has a limited TPU, but not bad for a free trip.

I received a signed contract today. Will let you know if anything changes.
Thanks for the quick reply. Do you mind if I ask one question about The Colonies: can you trade weeks within the resort (that is, if you can't use your deeded week, can you trade/exchange for a different one), or do you have to go through RCI or II?

Thanks again :)

Dont know, haven't tried.

You can trade in II and RCI (and SFX).
