Hi

I am wondering if anyone has stayed at The Carriage House recently. I heard there was construction and renovations. Are the rooms all renovated? I am looking to book a studio room.

What's this place like in terms of the quality compared to the Grandview or the HGVC? I'm pretty much just looking for a clean place to sleep at night. I like it that it's close to the strip.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

I have stayed there but it was 8 or 9 years ago. Studio was small and adequate. Resort was clean and we could walk to the strip and to most attractions. Not upscale or fancy.

It's been 5 years since I was there, but I would not hesitate to stay there again. They are very friendly & it was a nice resort.

We stayed there in 2011 and loved the place. This was our second visit. It is by no means fancy and had no frills. The pool is small and across the driveway but it was never crowded and always clean. The rooms were very nice and it was quiet. If your just looking for a place to sleep and be within reasonable distance to the strip then this would work for you. If you are compareing it to the Grandview in so far as size, no comparison. Carriage House is only one building....Grandview has 6 or maybe more than that now. But Grandview is about 7 miles south of the strip whereas the C.H. is only l long block. It is definitely walkable to the strip. In fact, our first visit we didn't rent a car until day 5 of our trip and that was only to see South Point and the M Casino. We took a cab from the airport. I loved staying at the Carriage House, the rooms were quite large enough for us and mostly, it was clean. Nothing fancy.

There are a number of reviews and pictures on Tripadvisor for this property.

It's directly adjacent to Marriott Grand Chateau. You'll see and hear their construction.
