I've always felt this mechanism was too advanced for its time, and that maybe they're ascribing more capability to it than it was intended. Either way, it's a pretty amazing thing.

the clickspring video series remaking this is one of my favorites! its almost as amazing as the original tech!

im not sure what took the guy longer to do, make all the parts by hand or edit/produce the video!
