Graeter’s Ice Cream, Cincinnati, Ohio - we can buy some of theirs at our local Kroger Store.

These outstanding ice cream shops are found in cold weather states Maine, Ohio, Wisconsin, Colorado, Nebraska, Idaho and Minnesota. Why ?
Those pictures make you want to go out and purchase some ice cream. IMHO:love:

MDI Ice cream is not my fave in Bar Harbor (that’s Ben and Bill’s) but I would be remiss if I didn’t point out that they are still better than almost all, AND they now have a location in DC.

We will checkout MDI, in April, hopefully, if we are still able to visit the DC area.
Love your Maine lobsters.

We missed cruise sailing from Baltimore up the coast to Maine and Canada in the fall time of the year.

Is MDI or Ben and Bill located near where the cruise ships docked in Bar Harbour ?

Sorry but Graeter's is a poor man's substitute for Aglamesis whose chocolate is MUCH superior!
They only have a couple of locations, including their original one in Oakley.
If you are in the area I highly recommend an afternoon or evening strolling in and out of the shops there :)

Herrell's Ice Cream in Northampton Mass. makes the best ice cream in the Northeast. They are the grandfather of specialty ice cream!
