The 12 best Marriott beach hotels in the United States

A lot of these properties require 100k+ MR points per night. I remember when I could stay at any Marriott resort worldwide for 7 nights for 110k points, and also get two roundtrip tickets on TWA or Delta, plus a 1 week Hertz rental, plus BOGO certificate for 7 night cruise. I could convert my Royal Palms week for 110k points. The sad thing is that I still would only receive 110k points for my RP week.

The MVC resorts on Marco Island and at NCV are a real bargain compared to the Marriott alternatives in the area.
