Thanksgiving week flights to Cancun

Need help,

I have to book thanksgiving week flights to Cancun. November 22 to 29.

From somewhere in the Northeast, Boston, NYC, Etc.

Any thoughts on how I might get the cheapest flights?

Look early and often

Usually when airlines open up schedule at 330 days out they frequently offer low fares sometime for the first week or so, but this time has already passed for your dates. Current fares out of BOS with a decent time and minimal stops are currently running $575 to $800 on various airlines.

Fares will often remain the same for weeks on end, then all of a sudden there will be a decrease or sale, again as the title indicates keep looking often, which to me usually means daily.

I think its best if I just buy now, I cant imagine them going down much, only up.

I just booked on American from JFK to Cancun 11/22-11/29 for $441 including taxes. Nonstop.

I used Orbitz...they guarantee that if it goes down thru the year they will refund the difference.

I just purchased mine from expedia.com for $338 per person including taxes, last week. Flying out of BWI. However, a friend of mine swears by usa3000, but the airfare with them was about $100 more, but it was non-stop. I needed to save the $ as I had to purchase tickets for Los Vegas during Independence day week.

BWI is a bit much form upsate ny for a drive, but wich we could for that price!!! thats GREAT!

How is flying from JFK, we've never done it before.

We often fly out of newark

We drive down from boston in order to get non-stop cheap flights..

JFK is a good set up. I also have a friend that lives in NY city that drives to Philadelphia for cheaper flights.
