Galena is a former 19th century mineral hotspot with most of its downtown buildings on the National Registry of Historic Places. Apparently it is the second most visited location in Illinois behind Chicago.
The resort is about 7 miles from downtown Galena. It has an indoor pool and hot tub, sauna, games room, fitness centre and business centre.
This 1 BR unit has a full kitchen, master bath whirlpool tub, two-sided fireplace, and washer and dryer in suite. It sleeps 4.
Cost is $46.0 including taxes, fees and parking.

Yes. We saw the house when we were there but did not have time to go in.
