Thank You, Steven Segal: Battleship USS Missouri Was Given a Big Screen Send Off

Steven Segal was a cook on the ship. LOL
BUT A FORMER NAVY SEAL.

A while back, there was a rumor that...
Steven Seagal & Katey Sagal would do a remake of "Jonathan Livingston Seagull."
George Segal would do the voice over. Alas, it never took flight.

Incidentally, Steven Seagal, Katey Sagal, George Segal and JL Seagull are not related.
.

When I was a kid, I built a plastic model of the USS Iowa. When we took a cruise ship out of LA, I was surprised to see the USS Iowa Museum on the way out to sea.

I've visited the USS Missouri twice and it's interesting to see the juxtaposition of 1940's and 1980's technology.
