Temporary housing in Tampa

My son got an internship at the Air Force base in Tampa this summer. He has to find his own housing. The man he'll work for is trying to get him on base, but it is difficult. I'd like him to find a rooming house or furnished apt. that will let him stay just 8 weeks. Any ideas?
